Qualio is the Digital/Online Startup of the Year

Qualio (formerly ZenDoc) has been named the 2014 Digital/Online Startup of the Year at the recent Bank of Ireland Startup Awards, for its quality management platform that simplifies compliance for businesses in regulated industries.

Companies were recognized for their achievements across a diverse group of categories and honored for their contribution to Ireland’s continued economic development. Now in its third year, the Bank of Ireland Startup Awards aim to identify, promote and support start-up companies for the contribution and employment they bring to the economy.

The awards were a competitive process with almost 1000 companies entering the competition. A distinguished panel of judges including Entrepreneur and RTE Dragon, Gavin Duffy and Head of Enterprise Development at Bank of Ireland, Gerry Prizeman, chose the winners. Judges chose winners that displayed a clear vision for the business along with proven results and a passion for making the business a success.

Qualio (formerly ZenDoc) is an easy to use quality management platform that simplifies compliance for businesses in regulated industries, particularly those in healthcare and life sciences.

Most companies cannot afford traditional solutions that are very complex, costly and cumbersome. Instead they use an inefficient and ineffective paper based manual system. This has been a big year for Qualio. Since the company was founded in 2012, it has been supported by Dublin BIC, Enterprise Ireland and NDRC Launchpad, Ireland’s top startup accelerator.
