## ComplianceWire assigns the training, Qualio holds the procedure

On a schedule you set, Qualio sends ComplianceWire each procedure's details as it is approved, goes effective or is retired, with a link to train in Qualio.

## What Qualio sends to ComplianceWire

For each document with training enabled, once it is approved: the document code, title and version, the approval and effective dates, the days allowed to complete the training, whether retraining is required, and a link to its training page in Qualio. ComplianceWire shows it as a training item. The PDF never leaves Qualio.

## Connect ComplianceWire in three steps

Connect with the ComplianceWire API key, username, password, company code and instance URL your ComplianceWire administrator provides, and a Qualio API key for the user whose view sets which documents go. Choose the schedule, every minute by default. From then on each document with training enabled arrives as it is approved.

## What you get

#### The retraining reaches everyone affected on the effective date

Approve the revision in Qualio and the training item in ComplianceWire moves to the new version, with its effective date and the days allowed to complete it. The people assigned follow the link and train in Qualio.

## Questions about the ComplianceWire integration

### How often does Qualio send to ComplianceWire?

On the schedule you set, every minute by default. Each run sends the details of any document with training enabled that was approved, went effective or was retired in the last two days, so a run that is missed is covered by the next. There is nothing to schedule in ComplianceWire.

### Does the PDF go across?

No. Qualio sends the document's details and a link to its training page in Qualio. ComplianceWire shows the training item, the person follows the link and reads and trains on the procedure in Qualio, and the controlled copy is only ever in Qualio.

### Which documents go?

Any document with training enabled in Qualio, once it is approved. There is no filter by type or tag. The Qualio API key you connect with belongs to a Qualio user, and the documents that user can see are the documents that go, so you set the scope by choosing the user.

### Does it change anything else in ComplianceWire?

No. It creates the training item and its versions, updates the effective date and retires the version when the document is retired. Curricula, assignments, completions and everything else in ComplianceWire stay as your administrators set them, and Qualio reads none of it.

### Who needs a Qualio seat?

The people who write and approve procedures in Qualio. The people assigned in ComplianceWire follow the link, sign in to Qualio and train there. Each trainee needs a Qualio login, and reading and training in Qualio are free.

### What does our ComplianceWire administrator have to create?

Nothing new in ComplianceWire. They provide the ComplianceWire API key, username, password, company code, instance URL, organisation name (usually Internal) and company name, which Qualio stores encrypted, and Qualio switches the integration on for your account. Items arrive in ComplianceWire as Control Documents.
